This is so hard to believe! Jesse Williams – better known as Dr. Jackson Avery – will be leaving “Grey’s Anatomy” after 12 seasons. Apparently his pending exit was revealed last night. “I will forever be grateful for the boundless opportunities provided me by Shonda [Rhimes], the network, studio, fellow castmates, our incredible crew, Krista [Vernoff], Ellen [Pompeo], and Debbie [Allen],” he said in a statement. “As an actor, director and person, I have been obscenely lucky to learn so much from so many and I thank our beautiful fans, who breathe so much energy and appreciation into our shared worlds.” Jesse’s final episode will air on May 20th. Here's hoping his character Dr. Jackson Avery will get back together with his true love April before then!!
