Well this is the time of the year when we find out if our favorite shows are staying put or if they're going to get cancelled. Yesterday we got some big news for our Thursday night viewing. Ellen Pompeo, the star of Grey's Anatomy for the past 17 years finally signed off on a one year contract which then led to ABC picking up the show for one more season. Grey's will be back for season 18. And in the same announcement, ABC let us know that Station 19 will be back for season five. However, it wouldn't surprise me if this ends up being the final season for Grey's. Pompeo has hinted that she might be ready to hang up her "scrubs" for other roles. Of course we'll have to wait and see how it all goes down, but we do know for sure we'll be watching the ins and outs of what happens with Meredith Grey for at least another season.
