We have such a sweet special girl from the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society as our Pet of the Week. Meet Peony! Peony is a 2-year-old (pit) bull in a china shop. Peony is just as beautiful as her namesake, and she inspires just as much joy too! Peony is a party-starter: if she’s having fun, EVERYONE is having fun. She loves people and looooooooooves back scratches. Peony could do with some training, but she is a big fan of treats, so we think she is very coachable. She does not like dogs at all, so she needs to be your only pet. Because of her excitable nature, we think that she would do best in a home with older children. We don’t think she would do anything intentionally, but sometimes it’s tough to direct 57 pounds of excitement!
