Pride Month kicks off in the Capital Region today with a couple of events. It's a happy occasion since Pride celebrations could not occur last year due to the pandemic. At 11am today at Albany City Hall, there will be the annual Pride Flag raisi9ng event, marking the kickoff of Pride Month for the Capital Region. And then at 5:30 this afternoon, the 2021 Pride Kick Off Reception will take place at the Palace Theater in Albany. It's free and open to all, but attendance will be limited. Masks are required unless you have proof of vaccination. There will be a live performance from Erin Harkes, cocktails and lite fare.
