I had the chance to head into downtown Troy over the weekend to check out where they're filming the new HBO TV show The Guilded Age. WOW! They've done an incredible job making it look like the 1880's. It reminds me of when they filmed the movie, The Age of Innocence there. Being a Troy girl, I'm always excited when my hometown gets to be featured on TV, even if they are going to pretend it's New York City. Check out some of the photos. Now filming is continuing this week so that means more traffic and parking restrictions, mainly on Second Street between Congress and Division, and First Street between Congress and Division. You can find out more about the restrictions by clicking here. But I have to tell you, if you get a chance, head to downtown Troy. I think you'll be really impressed with how cool everything looks!
