Have you noticed that when you head to your favorite restaurant and order chicken wings, the price has gone up significantly? There is a reason for that. We are dealing with a shortage of chicken wings right now. Some restaurants don't even serve wings anymore. Here's the reason why. Over the course of the pandemic, we ate a lot of take out, and one of the foods we love to get for take out is chicken wings. So more of us were eating them than usual. Secondly, there was a drop in production because of bad weather in Texas and other states that are major chicken producers. So while we're dealing with this "shortage" now, with some time and effort, things will get back to normal soon. So for now, be prepared to spend more for chicken wings, but know that in the future things should even out. I love my "flats" when it comes to wings, so I'm willing to pay a few extra bucks. What about you?
