Woodstock '99 was an absolute disaster . . . with fires, riots, scorching heat, overflowing port-a-potties, sexual assaults, and $4 bottles of water. Oh, and the bands Limp Bizkit and Insane Clown Posse, too!! And there's a new documentary on this chaos called "Woodstock 99: Peace, Love, and Rage". It hits HBO Max on July 23rd . . . 22 years after the festival's opening day. It looks like it really captures the insanity of that festival. As one attendee says in footage from the event . . . quote, "There are a lot of stupid humans around here." When you look at this and compare it to the original Woodstock in 1969, the two have absolutely nothing in common. The documentary looks fascinating. Check out the trailer below. I'll be watching.
