The Emmy nominations for the best in television were announced yesterday and The Crown and The Mandalorian topped the list with 24 apiece. Other big nomination getters were WandaVision, Handmaid's Tale, Saturday Night Live, Ted Lasso, Lovecraft Country, Queens Gambit and Mare of Eastown. Not a lot of network shows on the list. In fact, pretty much Saturday Night Live and This is Us were the only network shows to get several nominations. Late night network talk shows were nominated along with some network reality shows, but overall, it's all about streaming shows. Networks are going to have to step up their game to compete with streaming and premiere services. The Awards will air on September 19th Click here for the complete list of nominations.
