Yesterday, the nominees for the Emmy Awards came out, and while several musical icons submitted material to the Nominating committee, they were snubbed! What kind of a world is it when Bruce Springsteen, Cher, Beyonce and Dolly Parton all get snubbed by the Emmy's. All of those artists had documentaries or movies that featured new music and all were turned down by the Emmys. However, some of the icons that were nominated include The BeeGees for that great documentary on HBO, and Tina Turner for her fantastic HBO documentary. Also the Free Britney doc was nominated along with Billie Eilish's Apple TV + documentary. The Weeknd is up for his performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, and so is Marcus Mumford for the theme music to the great show Ted Lasso. All of those people are great, especially the BeeGees and Tina, but c'mon, not nominated the Boss, Cher, Dolly Parton and Beyonce seems pretty crazy to me! What do you think?
