We have such a handsome energetic boy from the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society as our Pet of the Week. Meet Norman!! Norman is just under three years old, and is a shepherd. He is one of our longest residents at the shelter, and we have no idea why. He is one of the smartest dogs you’ve ever seen. He is energetic (just like most shepherds), he is a total goofball, and he is always up for an adventure. He knows some basic commands, and is a pro at scentworks, an enrichment program at the shelter. He isn’t a fan of sharing his food or toys, but honestly who is? Because he’s a big dude (81 pounds of meathead), he would do best in a home with older children. He’s not a huge fan of other canines, so he would also probably be best as an only dog. But with Norman going on all of your adventures with you, you shouldn’t need anyone else!
