Will Mike Richards be the one to replace Alex Trebek as the permanent host of “Jeopardy?” The executive producer of the long-running game show is allegedly in advance negotiations to take on the role. Apparently Mike, who just joined the show last year, impressed the brass at Sony Pictures with his command of the game and his easy on-air manner. While there are other candidates in the mix, he’s the frontrunner. Unfortunately, this news is not setting well with some Jeopardy fans. There have been comments made on Twitter that LeVar Burton should be the permanent host or Mayim Bialik. I would be happy with any of those three and Ken Jennings as well. We'll have to wait and see what happens, but I think Mike would do a great job.
