If you want to have some outdoor fun today, the Empire State Plaza is the place to be! There will be a full day of live music and food vendors on the Plaza. It all kicks off at 11am with dozens of food venders and a Farmers Market leading up to a lunchtime concert at noon with the Old Time Dance Band. The event is free (food is not) and the fun goes until 8:30 tonight. There will be two more bands performing, one at 5:30-Side B, a local alternative rock band, and then at 7pm, the band Lit will do their thing. Free parking will be available starting at 5pm in the Grand Street and Elk Street parking lots. Paid parking is also available in the visitor lot under the Empire State Plaza. It sounds like a great way to have some fun today! Just remember to stay hydrated in the heat!!
No outside alcoholic beverage, coolers, or glass containers will be allowed on the Plaza at any time of the day.
