The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Will Be Back This Year!!!

This is such GREAT news!!! The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is back. Last year, we all know the parade had to be a TV-only event due to COVID, but this year, the parade is going to be live on the streets with spectators once again!! According to Will Coss, Executive Producer of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the annual event is a New York City institution that kicks off the holiday season. “For our 95th celebration, we are delighted to return this cherished holiday tradition closer to its original form as we march down the streets of New York City and into the homes of a nationwide audience,” he said.  Of course, there are expectations regarding COVID-19 safety guidelines. Parade workers and volunteers will have to show proof of vaccination and be required to wear a face covering. In addition, social distancing will be enforced on the crowd. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air Thursday, November 25th on NBC-TV. I'm so excited about this! While it was nice to have any kind of parade last year due to Covid, it's good to know that this year, people will once again be able to enjoy the parade live in NYC!! I'll be watching as I always do on Thanksgiving! What about you?
