This is a big weekend in the Capital Region! Two fun events are happening, one just for the weekend, the other will run tomorrow, Friday the 24th through Halloween. First up, we have the Adirondack Balloon Festival in Glens Falls. Always so beautiful. I've been many times and it never ever disappoints. Just dress warmly if you're heading up for the morning flight and you'll see amazing sights. Find out more about it here. And then starting tomorrow and running through Halloween, it's the Hollowed Harvest at the Altamont Fairgrounds. They did this last year for the first time, and I went and it was amazing. They make all different kinds of things from carved out pumpkins and lights. It's so cool, and it's a lovely thing to do with the whole family. Of course, I went with my sweetie and we enjoyed it without kids so it really is for everyone. See the picture of the Shark made from pumpkins below...that's from last year.
