I love when we find out what each day is on the "National" or World Calendar. You know, like when it's National Donut Day and we end up getting free donuts from lots of places. Well, we're not getting anything free today, but it is all about food. Today is World Egg Day. I'm not a fan of eggs, but I wish I was. It's also National Fluffernutter Day. Now it's been waaaaay too long since I've enjoyed a Fluffernutter. I used to love them as a kid, but I can't even remember the last time I bought a jar of Fluff. I need to do that soon! And last but far from least, it's also National Pierogi Day! I just love pierogies!!! I have a friend who makes homemade ones for Thanksgiving every year. But I'm not above the frozen Mrs. T's Pierogies. I love them too. So you see, today is all about food. And now I think I have to stop at the store on the way home and buy some Fluff and Pierogies.
