I think this is pretty cool! We all know the Capital Region is a great place to live, but now the rest of the world knows it too. Every year, U.S. News and World Report names the top places to live in the country. Well, for the first time, Albany has cracked the top 150 places to live in the country (coming in at number 45) and has been named the BEST place to live in New York State. That means it beat out Syracuse, Buffalo, Rochester and New York City, which came in at 2, 3, 4 and 5 respectively. So how did we rank so high? Well, According to the U.S. News and World Report website, “To make the top of the list, a place had to have good value, be a desirable place to live, and have a strong job market and a high quality of life.” We have all of that here in the area!!
