Have you been trying desperately to find those wonderful, delicious Freihofer's Chocolate Chip cookies that we all grew up loving and continue to enjoy into our adulthood? You're not alone. Unfortunately, the cookies are just not available right now. No matter where you to go to find them, whether it's Stewart's Shops, or the Freihofer's Bakery Outlet on Fuller Road, any one of the many local supermarkets, Freihofer's Chocolate Chip cookies are nowhere to be found. Unfortunately, when Hurricane Ida hit back in early September, it caused damage to Bimbo Bakeries facilities and suppliers. Because of that, Bimbo, which now makes the classic cookie, hasn't been able to produce them and get them to stores. And the supply chain problems don't help either. But don't worry...they're not gone forever. The iconic cookies will be back on store shelves in about a month. For those of us who love those cookies, that feels like an awfully long time!
