Who Won Dancing With the Stars on the Big Finale Last Night?

Season 30 of “Dancing With The Stars” is officially in the books. The celebs and their pros took their final spin in hopes of dancing away with the Mirrorball trophy last night. After many Tyra Banks costume changes and so much more, we now know who holds the coveted mirrorball. Let's break it down!

Each contestant did two performances last night, one fusion, which combines two styles into one routine, and one freestyle dance. We also got a different judge in a Hough sibling swap, as DerekHough is still in quarantine for COVID and his sister Julianne, a former “Dancing With The Stars” pro and former judge, filled in for him during the finale. And here’s what happened:

  • JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson started off with an electric tango/cha-cha fusion dance then moved on to their freestyle, which was set to Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.” Their high-energy performances were flawless, earning them two perfect scores.
  • Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach did what may be the finale’s biggest head-scratcher of a fusion dance in their combo of a cha-cha and a foxtrot, but they pulled it off. Their freestyle set to both “Lose Control” by Missy Elliott and “Bounce” by DJ Clent was packed with impressive lifts and Iman brought his flair to the performance, which gave them two perfect scores.
  • Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten mixed a Viennese waltz with a pasa doble for their fusion dance and she seemed to finally get a little sensual in the performance. And while they scored a 38 for that dance, their freestyle set to Coldplay’s “A Sky Full of Stars” led them to a perfect score.
  • Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke showed off just how much he’s improved in recent weeks with their paso doble/cha-cha hybrid in the first round. Their freestyle routine kicked off to Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 5” before the music cut and switched to Todrick Hall’s “Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels” and Cody seemed to be having a blast lip-syncing along. The duo earned a perfect score for that routine and a 36 for their fusion.

And then it was time for the moment we’ve all been waiting for … crowning the season 30 winner. Amanda and Alan came in fourth, Cody and Cheryl were in third place, JoJo and Jenna landed in second and that means Iman and Daniella are the big winners taking home the Mirrorball trophy. Congratulations to all the couples and especially Iman and Daniella for their big win!! It was a fun season! Are you happy with the winners? I was rooting for JoJo. What about you?
