Alec Baldwin says he didn’t pull the trigger of the gun that killed Halyna Hutchins on the set of “Rust.” Tonight, he’ll sit down with George Stephanopoulos for his first sit-down interview since the tragedy, which gets pretty emotional based on a preview shared by 20/20. In the one-hour primetime special airing tonight at 8pm ET and streaming on Hulu, Baldwin talks about what happened during the “Rust” dress rehearsal on October 21st. In the preview clip, he chokes up as he remembers Hutchins as someone “who was loved and admired by everyone.” And while he says it still “doesn’t seem real” that she’s gone, he’s certain that he didn’t pull the trigger. "I would never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger at them, never," he notes. "Someone put a live bullet in a gun, a bullet that wasn't even supposed to be on the property.” Check out the clip below. I'll be watching tonight. What about you?
