We have two sweet kitties from the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society as our Pets of the Week. Funky and Simone are both 7 months old, and are looking for a home together. They have only known the world together, and we would like to keep it that way. They do have one stipulation. Funky and Simone both came in with what appeared to be wounds from a previous bite. Because we don’t know what bit them, they must be separated from other animals for 6 months. This is to make sure that they do not have rabies (the longest it has taken to present before was six months). But since both of them have these wounds, they can do this together. Other than these wounds (which are healing just fine), they are your typical kittens! So if you’re looking to add two kittens to your home and either don’t have other pets OR have a way to keep your animals separated for extended periods of time, take a look at these sweeties.
