Wheel of Fortune upset a LOT of people the other night when they wouldn't give the grand prize to a woman who actually solved the puzzle. Here's the deal. Charlene was there at the final puzzle. The category was "What Are You Doing" Well after trying out one phrase she went on to say to Choosing the Right............Card! Well that was the right answer but apparently Wheel has this bizarre rule that if you don't say the phrase continuously, you don't win, and because Charlene had about a four second pause between Right and Card, they wouldn't give her the Grand Prize which was a brand new Audi. Well audience members were very upset (myself included) and were tweeting at Wheel of Fortune like crazy. Even Alex Jacob who is a winner of one of Jeopardy' Tournament of Champions tweeted, “Come on @WheelofFortune, the woman literally chose the right word. Give her the car,” , later adding, “I understand rules are rules but this seems like a particularly dumb rule. C’mon Wheel, it’s Christmas.”
Well, here's the Christmas miracle part of the story. Audi found out about what happened and they too were upset with how it went down. So as you can see from the tweet below, they decided to hook Charlene up with the Audi she should have won!!! I just love that!
