This is just so beautiful! Betty White called out the name of her late husband moments before she passed away on New Year’s Eve. She was married to Allen Ludden from 1963 until his death in 1981 from stomach cancer at the age of 63. We know this courtesy of Vicki Lawrence–Betty’s “Mama’s Family” co-star. “I texted Carol [Burnett] and said, ‘This just sucks. I hate this. It’s just horrible to see the people you love so much go away,’” she said. “Carol wrote back and said, ‘I know, I know. I spoke to Betty’s assistant, who was with her when she passed, and she said the very last word out of her mouth was ‘Allen.’” Vicki was like, “How sweet is that? I said, ‘That is so sweet. God, I hope that’s true. For all of us, I really hope it’s true, a lovely thought.’” ONE MORE THING! Betty White’s agent, Jeff Witjas, shot down an erroneous report about the cause of her death. “People are saying her death was related to getting a booster shot three days earlier, but that is not true. She died of natural causes,” he said. “Her death should not be politicized — that is not the life she lived.”
I've put a video of some of Betty's funniest moments below. This is how we should remember her. She was a class act....witty, smart, beautiful and kind. Watch below for some great laughs! RIP Betty We miss you so much already
