We have some TV show renewals to tell you about. One show was rumored to be in it's last season, one show has been renewed for two seasons and another will be back with two major stars as the leads. Here's the scoop.
It's official, "Grey's Anatomy" will be back for a 19th season! ABC has renewed the longest-running primetime medical drama, and Ellen Pompeo will return as Meredith Grey. Other original cast members James Pickens Jr. and Chandra Wilson will also be returning. Krista Vernoff, who has been the showrunner since she took over for Shonda Rhimes since 2014, will also continue in her role.
Netflix" has renewed "Emily in Paris" for a third and fourth season. Season 2 just dropped on December 22 and debuted in the "Global Netflix Top 10" just like Season 1 did when it was released. The next season is set to also shoot at the Studios of Paris in the spring or summer, and some other locations are being looked into, but that's all we know for now.
Apple TV announced that “The Morning Show” will return for a third season. This time, there will be a new showrunner.Charlotte Stoudt of “Fosse/Verdon” fame is replacing Kerry Ehrin, who will step into the consultant role.
