Two TV shows from the 90's are in the process of getting the reboot action. First up is the family drama Life Goes On that aired on ABC in the 90's You might remember the show was originally about a family with a down syndrome son, but that was by far not the focus of the show. The family was the focus. The show starred Patti Lupone, Chris Burke, Kellie Martin and others. Now comes word the show is in the process of being shopped around as a sequel series where original cast member, Kellie Martin would come back to her family after leaving home to become a doctor. Kelly will also be producing along with former star of the the original show, Christ Lowe. No word on what network the show will air on as it's currently being shopped around
The second show that's getting the reboot action: NBC has given a pilot order to a reboot of “Quantum Leap.” To review, the original, which aired from 1989 to 1993, featured Scott Bakula and the late Dean Stockwell traveling through time and “leaping” into other people’s body’s every week. The new version would pick up 30 years after Scott’s character stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. Scott Bakula is in "serious" talks to be a part of the show!
So will you watch either of these reboots? I would check them both out. I enjoyed the originals so I'd like to see how things are going years later. What about you?
