Looks like we're saying goodbye to another local news anchor/reporter. Jacquie Slater has left WNYT for good. She made an announcement on her Facebook page yesterday. You can see the post below but basically she said that she had taken some time off to focus on her family and ultimately decided not to renew her contract with Newschannel 13. She plans on staying the area and will keep us in the loop as to what's next. Jacquie had been with WNYT, Newschannel 13 since 2018 in several different positions, anchoring mornings at one point. We wish Jacquie nothing but the best and wish her happiness in her next endeavor. She'll be missed.
