We get enough bad news in life, that's why from now on, every morning at 6:30, we'll have some good news with Jaime's Pick Me Up of the Day. And today's story is about best friends. The best friends that are our pets. This story made me so happy and I hope it does the same for you.
A family in Braintree has been reunited with their beautiful black cat that went missing eight months ago. How did they find him? They recognized his very distinctive meow during a phone call to the vet. Rachael L. had been speaking with her vet about another one of her kitties that had just had surgery when she heard a cat meowing in the background. It's a very distinctive meow. Rachael asked the vet about the meow, but the vet said the it was coming from a stray cat that had been brought in about six days ago. Well, Rachael hung up but couldn't stop thinking about that meow because it sounded just like her lost cat, Barnaby (he'd been missing for eight months). So Rachael called back the vet and described Barnaby. The vet said that was exactly what the cat looked like so Rachael drove to the vet to confirm that it was Barnaby and IT WAS!!!!! She facetimed her kids to show them that Barnaby was found and they were so happy!! Everyone is back together now after eight months. Barnaby just needs to eat a little more and he's doing just that with his loving family. This is a story that proves you should NEVER give up hope!!!! Happy Endings are right around the corner!
