I love this pick me up story! Ninety-nine year old Simone K who lives in Saskatoon, Canada has proven to all of us that you are never too old to get out and have some fun! Simone is an avid bowler and she didn't let the pandemic or her age stop her from heading to her favorite bowling alley every Monday afternoon for her senior's league. She rarely misses a Monday and she says she loves it!! Why? Because it keeps her active and she gets to see her friends, her teammates! She says people are always surprised when she tells them that she's 99 years old and she loves the reaction she gets from them. Over the years, she may have slowed down a little bit, but her team says she's still a great player and they learn a lot from her. Another reason they love her is because she brings the team candy every week. Oh and Simone says if you want to know the secret to a looong life...Candy is a big part of it. I like hearing that! Her grandson has even joined the league and he says he learned from the best, his grandmother. So, the next time you think you're feeling too old to do something, remember Simone and don't let age stop you! You're never too old to have some fun!!
