This is such an amazing story! We all love our pets and are heartbroken when they're gone. But this story has a happy ending. Check it out. Back in August of 2015, Denise C of Maine was having a birthday party for her little girl. During the party, the family's beautiful kitty, Ashes went missing. They looked everywhere for her. She was microchipped so they thought surely someone would find her, but after months of looking and hoping, they believed that Ashes would never be found. They of course, went on to get several other family kitties. Flash forward to last week, seven years after Ashes went missing. Denise got a message from a shelter in Florida saying that they had found her cat. Denise didn't understand the message because all of her kitties were with her at home. But when she called back, the shelter told her they had a female gray tabby and her microchip contained information stating she was Denise's cat. Denise was in shock and couldn't believe it. How did Ashes make it the 1,500 miles from Maine to Florida. But it was her. So a family friend in Florida picked up Ashes from the shelter and brought her back to Denise and her family. They were overjoyed. Now Ashes is safe at home with her family. Again, a pick-me-up story that reminds us to never give up hope!
