For a minute there I thought Spring was coming a little bit early. We've had several days of 50+ degree temperatures. BUT just like that, Winter will be back in full force. We are expecting a BIG snowstorm to hit the Capital Region on Friday. As of right now, meteorologists say the snow will begin late Thursday or very early Friday morning (1am) and then continue all throughout the day on and off. By the Friday morning commute, we'll already have several inches of snow on the ground, so please prepare and plan ahead. Give yourself extra time to get to your destination. If you don't have to go out, please don't. If you're traveling by plane or train, make sure you call ahead. One good thing about the storm hitting on Friday is that most schools are already closed this week for mid-winter break. But remember you'll be able to find all the closings and delays, not only for schools, but for businesses as well, just by clicking here. Right now, we're looking at six to 12 inches, but the experts say they'll be able to get a little bit more specific by late Wednesday. So of course, I'll keep you updated, but just be ready. Winter is ready to call it quits just yet. We'll get through this one together!
