Well, we've been waiting and waiting and it looks like we're finally moving in the right direction. Last year it was announced that a Chick Fil-A would finally be coming to the area in Clifton Park. At the time, it was announced that the store would probably be up and running by Thanksgiving. We know that didn't happen. Now we know why. To get final approval on building the store where the old Pier 1 Imports was, the company had to do a traffic study. Well, last year, due to Covid, it was hard to get an accurate study done as there were less cars on the road. But now Chick Fil-A is back on track and it looks like final approval will be coming in April and construction will begin not long after that. Chick Fil-A will more than likely be open by the end of the year. That is great news for those of us who are Chick-Fil-A lovers. Up until this store, the only Chick Fil-A in the area was behind security at Albany Airport. But now we'll have one in Clifton Park at 304 Clifton Park Center Road. And more good news. Chick Fil-A is planning another store in Colonie in the future! FINALLY!!!!
