This will bring back faith in humanity! On Wednesday morning, Eduardo Martinez was walking through Times Square on his way to work, when he unknowingly dropped his wallet, which contained his $4-thousand in cash, at Broadway and 49th Street. When he realized that he’d lost his wallet, a frantic Martinez retraced his steps trying to find it. While on the futile hunt for his missing wallet, he was approached by two NYPD officers. They explained that they’d been given a wallet by an unnamed woman who found it while on her way to work that morning. After verifying his identity, the police officers returned Martinez’s wallet to him and he was shocked to find every cent of his money still inside. Martinez is grateful for the good Samaritan who found and returned his wallet as well as the police officers who tracked him down to give it back to him. He says the experience has proven that there are still honest people in the world. This brings me a lot of joy. Of course there are still good people in the world, and I'm glad Eduardo found one! Have a GREAT Monday!
