Meet Obie, a 4.5 yo male boxer from the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society. Where to start with Obie. Obie is a master at playing hard-to-get. He can be very nervous in new situations and around people. Once he feels comfortable though, watch out. He is a silly, wiggly, goofy dude that is sure to keep you on your toes. Obie loves treats (so much so we had to put him on a weight-loss plan!) and we have recently learned he loves to play with other dogs! Obie’s dream home is a quiet, low-traffic home with adults. Kids tend to move too quickly and unpredictably for our dear friend Obie. He is very smart, and knows how to get what he wants. He also is a top-notch sweetheart and can steal your heart with just a look. Obie is peak boxer energy, and we know that boxer-loving people will understand that. It’s far past time that this cutie patootie gets a home. Click here to find out more about Obie, and how to adopt him from the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society
And this weekend, there's a great event happening at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society! It's the Kitten Shower on Saturday, April 2nd from 12pm-3pm. Just like how baby showers help get expectant parents ready for babies, our kitten shower will help our foster program get ready for the influx of kittens we anticipate getting during kitten season! This is a come-when-you-can event with raffles, auctions, a bake sale, stuffed animal adoptions, meet-and-greets with current foster parents and our Foster Manager, oh, and KITTENS! This is not an adoption event, but we will have kittens at the event to play with! Find out more by clicking here. And I'll be there Saturday so I hope to see you too!!
And don't forget about the Mohawk Hudson's Society Pet Pantry. If you're having trouble feeding your pet, let the MHHS help you...it's all free of charge. Find out more here.
