What a great pick-me-up today! Don Corsetti is a Lake George high school teacher who has been teaching since, wait for it, 1964!!! So on Friday, teachers and students got together to throw him a surprise 80th birthday party. Sure Mr. Corsetti retired back in 2000, but he has been working as a substitute almost every day since then. Students and teachers alike give him high marks as a friend and teacher. That's why on Friday, the entire student body, along with all the faculty and some former students formed a drum line as they escorted Mr C into the gym for an assembly that allowed the community to thank him for his 58 years of service and to throw him an 80th birthday party! And no worries, Mr. C is not stopping anytime soon! He plans on continuing to teach because he says he would miss it too much. Check out the story below done by Channel 13! This is just beautiful!!
