We got some sad news overnight about the passing of a Capital Region radio legend. Bob Mason of Mason & Sheehan has passed away. Back in the day when Mason & Sheehan were doing radio, they ruled the airwaves. They were everywhere! There were tshirts, mugs, stress balls, and more, all with Mason & Sheehan's picture on them. Even if you didn't listen to them, you knew who they were. I only knew Bob as an acquaintance. He was always kind to me and gave good advice to a young woman who was just coming up in the radio business. I'll always be grateful. May he rest in peace.
