We were having a conversation at work the other day with a couple of our interns who are in their early 20's. Somehow or another the phrase "be kind, rewind" came up and most of us started laughing, but our interns had NO idea what we were talking about. I can't lie, it hurt a little bit. But then we started talking about other things that young people would have no idea about. For instance, remember going into a restaurant to eat out and the hostess asking you if you wanted "smoking or non smoking section?" Crazy. Or having to tell someone in your house to get off the phone because you wanted to get on the internet. And then hearing that long hissing sound while the modem dialed up. Do you remember getting those 1000 hours of free AOL discs?? They were really important for awhile. LOL. And remember getting the phone book dropped off at your house and then looking up your own name. Why did we do that?
