I'm so excited about what's happening in Troy beginning this Saturday! It's called Troy Street Pianos. Remember back a few years ago, pre-pandemic, when the City of Albany had pianos placed all around the city so people could just sit and play and sing. Well now it's Troy's turn! This is a really cool public art project so there will be pianos in three different places in Troy for anyone and everyone to play and enjoy! The cool thing is that while all the pianos are playable and functional, they're each be designed and painted by a local artist! I just love this idea. I remember when they were around Albany, people would just stop and play and sing. It was great. So hopefully that will happen in Troy too. The pianos will be placed right outside The Snowman in Lansingburgh, outside of 518 Crafts in downtown Troy facing Monument Square, and in the Lots of Hope Park in South Troy! Start playing and singing starting Saturday!
