This is a birthday present we can all relate to!! Who wouldn't want their childhood idol showing up for a birthday to serenade you! Well it happened to Jennifer Garner when she got an early 50th birthday gift, and that gift was Donny Osmond! Garner has made it known in the past that Osmond was her childhood idol/crush. She shared the special present on Insta, which starts off with her watching a video of Osmond singing to her for her birthday...she was blown away. Then to her surprise Osmond came up from behind her, finishing the song in real life! Garner was so awestruck that she had to take off the sweater she was wearing over her tee. Not only did Osmond serenade her in person, but he gave her a birthday cake that fittingly read "13 going on 50." The two then sang a duet... and then it all became a little too much for Jen. "My first (pre)birthday surprise was a doozy," she wrote alongside the video. "The one and only, legend in his own time, object of my childhood adoration and devotion— @donnyosmond showed up to knock my purple socks off. He took an hour and a half of his day to sit with me, sing my favorites, and to give me a master class on how to be a class act." Garner also said that she hopes to meet his wife, Debbie, one day.
