Meet the loveable, energetic Marsha, our Pet of the Week from the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society! Meet Gordo, 4.5yo male mastiff mix (115 pounds!)! You know what they say about dogs with big paws? Big hearts! Meet Gordo. Gordo is a goofy lovebug that thinks he’s a lap dog. He doesn’t always kiss on the first date-he likes to make sure you’re sticking around before showing you his silly side. Once knows you though, your lap better always be free! He also loves to go for car rides. He loves them so much, he would probably be happy to stay in one all day. He’s a strong boy that would do well with a family that wants to continue his training. In one of his photos, you can see he is wearing a Gentle Leader. That is a training tool to help him learn not to pull so hard while on leash. Gordo is one of our lucky dogs here that is part of our foster-to-adopt program. That means that there is a three-week trial period to make sure it’s the right fit for both your family and for Gordo. You also have direct contact with a staff member for any questions or concerns during that time.
