Let's talk about Mattea Roach. She was amazing to watch on Jeopardy! Well, the 23-game winning streak for Mattea on “Jeopardy!” came to an end Friday thanks to one dollar. After Final Jeopardy, Danielle Maurer had a total of $15,600, while Roach, who missed the Final Jeopardy question, was at $15,599. (See the video below!) Roach’s winnings total $560,983, which puts her fifth all-time from regular season games and in consecutive games won. Roach will compete in the Tournament of Champions this fall.
Now onto news about Ken Jennings, who has been hosting Jeopardy along with Mayim Bialik. Ken has announced via Twitter that he’s taking a hiatus for a while. In the tweet, he says he’s “handing the keys back to the talented actor-producer-writer-director Mayim Bialik for a few months.” Jennings has been hugely popular as the host of the show, while Bialik has drawn a more mixed reaction. Personally I think they're both excellent and I'll always watch Jeopardy. We'll look forward to Ken making his way back to the show when he's ready!
