It's a new month! Here are a few things to look forward to in June . . .
1. In sports: The NBA Finals get started tomorrow between the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors. Also, the Stanley Cup playoffs are in full swing . . . golf's 122nd U.S. Open starts June 13th . . . and Wimbledon kicks off June 27th.
2. On TV: Coverage of The Queen's Platinum Jubilee airs Thursday on CBS . . . season three of "The Boys" hits Prime this Friday . . . and the MTV Movie & TV Awards are on Sunday.Then the new series "Ms. Marvel" hits Disney-Plus June 8th . . . the 75th Tony Awards are on the 12th . . . season four of "Westworld" lands June 26th . . . and season two of "Only Murders in the Building" hits Netflix June 28th.
3. In movies: Adam Sandler's basketball flick "Hustle" arrives on Netflix June 8th . . . "Jurassic World: Dominion" opens on the 10th . . . a new "Toy Story" spin-off called "Lightyear" lands June 17th . . . and the big new "Elvis" biopic opens June 24th.
4. And finally, the holidays: The big ones are Father's Day and Juneteenth, which are both on the 19th this year. Also, it's Pride Month, with Pride Day on the 28th. And the first official day of summer is the 21st. Now here are a few lesser-known holidays . . .
