Today's Pick Me Up is making lots of people happy, especially those who have eaten at LoPorto Restaurant in Troy. Earlier this year Chef Michael LoPorto passed away, but the City of Troy wants to honor him. Chef Michael was known for hanging outside his restaurant and talking with folks as they walked by, so the stretch of Fourth Street where his restaurant stands will be called LoPorto Way! If you've ever eaten at LoPorto, you know it's a five star restaurant and it's amazing and that's all thanks to Chef Michael! So we congratulation his family for this wonderful honor! Let's face it, Chef Michael was one of the main reasons people would go to Troy! This is a well deserved honor! You can read more about it here.
