This is such a beautiful Pick me Up: We're all struggling with gas prices right now, but a gas station owner in Phoenix, Arizona is doing his part to help. Jaswiendre Singh, who owns a convenience store and gas station is now selling his gas 50 cents cheaper than anyone else in the area. BUT that means he is selling it at a loss of 47 cents a gallon. That means with customers buying about 1000 gallons a day, Mr. Singh is losing about $500 a day. But he says it's worth it. To quote him, "To give a break to the customer and my community. People don't have the money right now, My mother and my father did teach us to help if you have something. If you have something you have to share with other people." Mr. Singh and his wife are working longer hours at their convenience store to try to make up for some of the lost money, but again, he said, "God gave me help. It doesn't matter. We are not here to make money right now. I'm very happy to help the other people." What an incredible man. And what an inspiration! We need more people like Mr. Singh in the world!
