This is such a great pick me up...it gives us all hope for the future. Brody is a sixth grader who was graduating from elementary school to head into middle school. As is the custom whenever you graduate, Brody wanted his classmates to sign his yearbook. But that didn't happen. Brody didn't have many friends and was even bullied at the school so when it came time to ask for signatures, no one wanted to sign. Two kids signed their name but nothing else. So Brody wrote a note to himself in his own yearbook: "Hope you make some more friends. — Brody." When his mom read that it broke her heart. So mom posted a picture of that on a Facebook group for parents of students at the school. Well, somehow it got back to three upperclassmen who were Juniors in the high school. When they read it, they spent lots of time trying to figure out how to help Brody. Then they got it. They were going to get all their friends to sign Brody's yearbook with words of love and encouragement. And they did. Over 100 students signed Brody's yearbook. They gave him hope, words of love and inspiration and even their phone numbers so he could call when he was feeling down. The teenagers said they just hope it inspires other kids to be kind. We hope so too.
