The production of The Gilded Age is already back in Troy preparing to start filming season 2 of the HBO Max show. Hundreds of costumes have been brought into the Troy Atrium, which serves as the center of costuming and prepping for the show. Filming isn't set to begin until August 1st, but there is lots of preparation that has to go in before the actual cameras start to roll. And along with filming in Troy this time around, the production will also be in Albany, specifically at the First Presbyterian Church on the Corner of State and Willett. Plus new this year, the production will also hit the streets of Cohoes. No word on the exact locations in Cohoes, but many are speculating that the Cohoes Music Hall will be one of the places. And of course, in Troy, they'll continue filming around Monument Square and Troy's Washington Park. Personally I'm so glad they're coming back. It was so fun to head to Troy to see how the production turned the streets into the late 1800's. It was so fun to go and check it out. We get our own little piece of Hollywood here in the Capital Region. Plus the crew pumps lots of needed money into the area. So we welcome them back to the area, and look forward to seeing our hometowns on the small screen again!
