This is such a great Pick Me Up! You always hope that companies will be more about customer service than the almighty dollar but it rarely happens that way. But that's not true of Chewy.com, the online pet food retailer. Check this out. Anna Brose's dog Gus recently passed away. But before he did, she had ordered a bag of his favorite food from Chewy. So she reached out and asked if she could return the unopened bag. Well, not only did they give her a full refund. They told her to take the bag of food and donate it to a local shelter AND sent Anna flowers with a gift note signed by the person who she had spoken to. How beautiful is that? That's how we want all our companies to be. And proving it wasn't just a one time thing on the part of Chewy, since 2012, they've donated more than 97 million dollars in product to shelters and rescue animals. They also have been recognized by Newsweek magazine as "America's Best Customer Service" from 2019 through 2021. This makes me want to do business with Chewy! Good for them!!
