A “Jeopardy!” hosting announcement is coming "very very soon." At this point, the smart money is on either Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings. But there could be someone else on the horizon. Recently former Jeopardy champ Buzzy Cohen hinted that another name is in the mix. He didn't say if that name was his or someone else. “We hope to have a hosting announcment very, very soon,” executive producer Michael Davies said. “But with all of our plans for ‘Jeopardy!’ — which is more ‘Jeopardy!,’ not less, more versions — we’re going to need multiple hosts to represent the entire audience,” Davies added, “to represent the entire country, in order to take this franchise forward.” As you know, former EP Mike Richards was named host after Alex Trebek passed away, but was forced to step down when anti-Semitic, misogynistic, and racist jokes that he told on a podcast in the mid-2010s resurfaced online.
So who would you pick to be the permanent Jeopardy host? I have to go with Ken Jennings. He has been my pick from the beginning, though I do enjoy Mayim Bialik, but we know she'll be hosting the primetime Jeopardy specials. Who would you like for the regular 7:30 weeknights show?
