There is so much great music coming to the Capital Region this weekend, starting tonight with Alive at Five with Ballyhoo! and ending Sunday night with the Steve Miller Band at SPAC! In between, we have Rod Stewart on Friday at SPAC, and the Backstreet Boys Saturday night at SPAC. All great shows, but how about a full day of live music, food and fun that is FREE! The first Nipperfest is happening this Saturday at Schenectady's Central Park and it looks like it's going to be incredible. All day there will be music from amazing local acts, like Sirsy, The Figgs, Erin Harkes and more. And the headliner will be none other than The Voice winner, Sawyer Fredericks. The music is free all day, and there will be food trucks so you can buy some food and beverages while you enjoy the day of music. It runs from 11am to 10pm and I think it's going to be great! I'll be stopping by at some point to enjoy the local live music. What about you? Oh, and I'll also be at the Rod Stewart show and the Tri City Valleycats game on Sunday, but Saturday, I'm definitely checking out Nipperfest! Will you?
