I love today's Pick Me Up because I remember what it felt like to get an ice pop on a hot summer day! Check this out...it happened in the Berkshires over the weekend. There were a bunch of kids swimming in Plunkett lake in the Bershires. A police sergeant saw them there and decided it was time for his random act of kindness. So he drove to the store, bought a box of ice pops and headed back to the lake where he gave each and every single kid there an ice pop to enjoy while swimming at the Lake. I just love this!! This is what community is all about! In fact on the Facebook page, someone wrote, "Small acts of kindness that forever leave an ever lasting impression on our future generations." I couldn't agree more! Who doesn't love an ice pop on a hot summer day!
