This is truly an ice cream tragedy! Klondike has decided to discontinue the Choco Taco. This is it. The end of the Choco Taco. The Choco Taco first hit the scene in the 1980's. At first it came to us through the ice cream man, but then Taco Bell started selling them and then you could buy it in the stores. I myself have been a lover of the Choco Taco. I wouldn't say it's my number one go-to, but it was always on my list. I mean, it had ice cream, chocolate, nuts and the taco shaped cone and you got all of that in every bite. It was so so so good. You might still be able to find some Choco Tacos on store shelves but that's only until they run out of inventory. Klondike, who makes the ice cream, said that they're other ice creams are more popular and something had to give, and Choco Taco was it. Still there is some hope that perhaps the Choco Taco could be saved. The founder of the website Reddit has already said he would be happy to buy the rights to the Choco Taco to keep it going. And Patrick Shriver, the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver said that he'd go in on it too. So we'll have to keep our fingers crossed but for now, we mourn the loss of the Choco Taco. Ice cream just won't be the same.
