I just love today's Pick Me Up! It's nice to know that some of the people kids idolize deserve that adoration. When a fan of NFL star J.J. Watt took to Twitter to try to sell her J.J. Watt jersey and sneakers to help pay for her grandfather's funeral, the Arizona Cardinals player saw the tweet and quickly decided he needed to help her out. In the tweets below you can read the exchange that happened. Jennifer Simpson was advertising the jersey and sneakers so she could cover the costs of her granddad's funeral. Watt saw the tweet and simply tweeted back " Don't sell your shoes and jersey, we'll help with the funeral. I'm sorry for your loss."
And now we know that that is exactly what he did. Jennifer still has her J.J. Watt sneakers and jersey and the costs have been paid for. This is a stand up guy! I'm a Giant's fan, but a little piece of me will be cheering on J.J. Watt this Fall!
